"The longest-running nightclub act on Broadway" is on the move! For one special night, multi-award winning singer, bandleader and comedian Terese Genecco grabs her high-octane octet filled with some of the city's most respected jazz and Broadway musicians and makes a B-line from The Iridium to the new Cutting Room and from the swing era to the Rat-Packing 60's.
As Genecco likes to quip about her hard-driving, up-tempo shows, "there's a two-drink minimum and a two-ballad maximum!" Genecco's high-flying wingmen are Ted Kooshian on piano, Marco Panascia on bass, Ray Marchica on drums, Cliff Lyons on sax, Mark Miller on trombone, Kenny Lavender on trumpet with Mayra Casales on Latin percussion. The Wall Street Journal's Will Friedwald has said that Genecco "and her three horns and five rhythm put on an unstoppable juggernaut of a set."
